PATIENT DETAILS
This 46-year-old woman desired an improved contour to her arms. On examination, the girth of the arms was found to be thick. To safely achieve this patient’s goals, a two-stage procedure was proposed. Liposuction was first performed to debulk the girth of the arm. Brachioplasties were performed with the following notables:
- outpatient surgery
- general anesthesia
- “double ellipse” brachioplasty technique
- compression wrap of the arms for 6 weeks
Photographs were obtained before and 4 months after surgery.
