Masseter Reduction Before After #01

PATIENT DETAILS

This 32-year-old Asain woman desired a softer and more feminine jawline. On examination, her masseter muscles were enlarged. The mandibular bone was mildly enlarged. Subcutaneous tissues were normal. She was offered botulinum toxin injections to reduce the size of her masseter muscles.

Nonsurgical masseter muscle reduction was achieved with a series of three Botox (botulinum toxin) injections at 3-4 month time intervals. Photographs were taken as follows:

• 7 weeks and 3 months following the first treatment.
• 4 months following the second treatment.
• 7 months following the third treatment.
