PATIENT DETAILS

This 59-year-old Asian had double eyelid surgery many years ago. She presented with a progressive loss of her left eyelid crease and asymmetry of her folds. Left upper blepharoplasty was performed with the following notables:

  • outpatient surgery
  • local anesthesia
  • skin not excised
  • muscle not resected
  • lid fold anchored to the tarsal plate
  • fat pads not resected

Photographs were obtained before and 7 months after left upper eyelid surgery.
