PATIENT DETAILS
This 48-year-old woman had weight loss following a bariatric procedure. The resulting loose skin on her arms was heavy and symptomatic. Brachioplasties were performed with the following notables:
- outpatient surgery
- general anesthesia
- “double ellipse” brachioplasty technique
- compression wrap of the arms for 6 weeks
Photographs were obtained before and 1 year 4 months after surgery.
