Before & After Asian Eyelid Surgery
PATIENT DETAILS
This 49-year-old man of mixed Asian heritage complained of heaviness and excess skin in his upper eyelids. He desired corrective surgery. Bilateral Asian upper eyelid blepharoplasties were performed with the following notables:
- outpatient surgery
- local anesthesia
- excision of excess skin
- excision of orbicularis muscular strips (2-3mm).
- fat pads not resected
Photographs were obtained before and 6 weeks after bilateral Asian upper eyelid surgeries.
