PATIENT DETAILS
This 38-year-old woman successfully lost 80lbs of body weight. The weight loss has left her with loose abdominal skin and a displeasing tummy contour. Abdominoplasty was performed with the following notables:
- outpatient surgery
- general anesthesia
- repair of the diastasis recti
- excision of 1350g of excess tissue
- drains were not used
- abdominal binder was worn following surgery
The photographic follow-up was obtained before and 1 month after surgery.
