PATIENT DETAILS

This 33-year-old woman has given birth to 2 children and now desires an improved abdominal contour. Abdominoplasty was performed with the following notables:

  • outpatient surgery
  • general anesthesia
  • repair of an umbilical hernia
  • repair of a moderate width abdominal rectus diastasis
  • drains were used
  • abdominal binder was worn for 6 weeks following surgery¬†¬†

The photographic follow-up was obtained before and 8 months after surgery.
