Before & After Asian Eyelid Surgery
PATIENT DETAILS
This 37-year-old Asian woman desired accentuated creases to her upper eyelid folds. Bilateral Asian double eyelid surgeries were performed with the following notables:
- outpatient surgery
- local anesthesia
- excision of excess skin
- excision of orbicularis muscular strips (2-3mm).
- fat pads not resected
- epicanthal folds not treated
- lid fold anchored to the tarsal plate
Photographs were obtained before and 3 weeks after bilateral Asian upper eyelid surgeries.
