PATIENT DETAILS
This 47-year-old woman is a mother of 2 children born by Cesarian section. Her C-section scar has healed well. Abdominoplasty was performed with the following notables:
- outpatient surgery
- general anesthesia
- repair of a moderate size abdominal rectus diastasis
- excision of 1065g of excess tissue
- drains were used
- abdominal binder was worn for 6 weeks following surgery
The photographic follow-up was obtained before and 4 months after surgery.
