PATIENT DETAILS
This 37-year-old woman developed laxity and stretch marks on her abdominal skin following the birth of 2 children. Her children were delivered by Cesarean section. The abdominal C-section scar has healed well. Abdominoplasty was performed with the following notables:
- outpatient surgery
- general anesthesia
- repair of the diastasis recti
- excision of excess tissue
- drains were not used
- abdominal binder was worn for 6 weeks following surgery
The photographic follow-up was obtained before and 3 months after surgery.
