PATIENT DETAILS
This 35-year-old woman had an inverted left nipple. She was able to externalize the inverted left nipple inverted manually. Surgery was performed only on the affected left nipple:
- 30-minute procedure
- outpatient surgery
- local anesthesia
- unilateral grade 2 nipple inversion
- interferes with the future ability to breastfeed on the left breast
The photographic follow-up was obtained 7 days after surgery.
